Biographical SketchTorsten Fiebig received his Ph.D. from the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry at the University of Göttingen. Following his graduate work, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology in the field of femtosecond dynamics in condensed-phase chemical systems. In 2000, he moved to the Technical University of Munich, to serve as the head of an independent research group supported by the German National Science Foundation (DFG) as an Emmy-Noether Fellow and completed his Habilitation in 2004. Fiebig then joined the faculty at Boston College, as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry until 2010, when he joined the ANSER Center as the Director of Operations. He also maintains an appointment as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University. Most Significant Honors and Awards
